Fourteen lucky ramblers (including welcome guests Melanie and Sarah) arrived early at Llantilio Crosenny for the start of today’s near nine mile walk. In brilliant and warming sunshine, we started by heading North past Brookfield cottage and Middle Cwm farm where we headed West along the three castles walk. The spectacular Upper White castle proved to be the ideal place for an early lunch where after refreshments, we headed North West to pont Gilbert. A circuit using Offa’s Dyke path and a very muddy Craggle street started us back on the return journey along the Offa’s dyke path through Great Treadam and another cuppa. It was then across fields back to the start. A superb walk expertly led by Derek and great company! Thanks all.
