Today’s 6 mile pudding pounder from Pontsticill greeted 16 lucky ramblers. In dry but chilly weather, we made our way from the bus terminus to the dam to see the overflow then crossed the dam and made our way around the reservoir. We stopped for a cuppa on the forestry road then continued to the wooden bridge where we fed the birds, decorated the Christmas tree and had another cuppa. We then followed the forestry track and road to the Red Cow where we stopped for a drink and some of us had a meal. A big thanks to Mandy of the Red Cow who looked after us so well, the food was superb. Thanks also to the group whose chat and liveliness made the walk so successful. not many pictures as I was leading (sort of) but Sharon’s are excellent. Thanks all!
