Day 2 of the Merthyr Valley Ramblers May weekend away saw 15 of us assembling in bright weather in New Quay. We started our 8+ mile walk with a steep climb from the car-park along the top of the cliff to a bay by Castell Bach where a cuppa was consumed. We then did a big circuit inland where we passed a garlic festooned waterfall - we then hit the roads to Cwmtydu where we had lunch. It was then more coast work where we then turned inland to cross our path and on to Byrlip where we travelled Northeast and back to the start. Stunning scenery, fabulous company and great weather all made it a superb walk thanks again to Peter.
