Christmas walk through Talybont, 13 December 2025
The sun was shining brightly on the 12 Merthyr Valley Ramblers (including welcome guest Karen) at Talybont community centre car park today. We first headed north along the canal to the almshouses bridge where we went across the sodden fields and road to Pwll-y-hwyaid where we had our first cuppa. We then headed south over more wet meadows to Aber where we lunched in Aber chapel grounds. We then retraced our steps Danywenallt where we rejoined the Taff trail back to Talybont via the canal and a territorial swan. A lovey walk thanks to Morfedd, Rob and the great company.
